Canadians and tourists alike can explore our lists filled with ideas and inspiration for their next road trip or camping adventure.The Go RVing Canada coalition was formed in 1997, and consists of RV manufacturers, RV dealers and campground operators in the multi-billion dollar Canadian RVing industry.

The coalition serves as the Canadian RV camping industry ambassador to provide the public and media with information about the benefits of RV travel. Go RVing Canada seeks to enhance consumer information and satisfaction with the RV experience, it’s the destination for everything RVing.

What is an RV?

If you are wondering exactly what is an RV, the simplest answer is that it is a self-contained living space designed for travel. An RV, or recreational vehicle, is a versatile vehicle that perfectly combines transportation with comfortable living accommodations.

Typically, an RV is a vehicle that you either drive yourself (like a motorhome) or tow behind a truck or SUV (like a travel trailer). There are also specialized RVs known as “Park Models,” which are designed to be placed more permanently at a campground or resort.

Whatever type you choose, an RV allows you to bring your favorite comforts – along with all your gear – no matter where your next adventure or vacation takes you.
